A drawing, a few settings – and shortly afterwards a song plays that did not exist before.
At NEXTM 2026, ARD MEDIA and WDR mediagroup presented themselves with a joint trade fair stand. At its core was an application that turns visitors’ input into music: “Sound Your Story”. SCHNEEWEISS Konzeptbüro developed the stand together with both partners and was responsible for the creative concept and the visual appearance of the entire trade fair presence.
How Sound Your Story works
Via a specially designed interface, guests entered a drawing and individual settings. From this input, an AI generated a personal song in real time. Visitors could have the finished track sent to them directly by email, so the result of their visit lasted beyond the day at the fair.
One look for interface, screens and print
The design of the browser-based application was part of the same task as the appearance of the stand. SCHNEEWEISS developed an attention-grabbing look and feel that runs from the UI design of the application through the screens at the stand to the print productions. All trade fair graphics and print data were produced by SCHNEEWEISS as well.
Execution with a technical partner
The application was realised together with a technical implementation partner via an API connection. SCHNEEWEISS coordinated the design with this partner, coordinated the trades and suppliers involved and supported the application on site during the fair.
What the stand achieved
The interactive concept generated high visitor interaction and strong visibility at the fair. The lasting value lay in the songs themselves: whoever visited the stand took a personal piece of music home.
